The Author, Goldstein, writes: For more than 18 years I have been a premedical advisor at MIT assisting my advisees in their quest for admission to U.S. medical schools. As a physician and Harvard Medical School faculty member, I feel uniquely qualified to counsel premed students. The response to the first edition of the book has been tremendous both from students as well as reviewers. We have tried to answer as many questions as possible in an easy to read style. The book also has a great deal of input from current medical students including their successful admission essays and critiques of their medical schools. The last chapter, written by a recent medical school graduate, highlights her experiences at Harvard Medical School
